The CSC10 riot helmet is manufactured inSpecial HRP polyethylene for racing helmets, together with a proprietary hybrid compound, which gives the helmet exceptional strength.against penetration, impact and corrosive agents, as well as ballistic resistance against 12/70 calibre pellets fired from a hunting shotgun cartridge, at a distance of just 5 metres.The CSC10 helmet has the European CE certification, according to Directive 93/68/EEC. This allows it to be sold freely in any of the Member States of the European Union and it also has the UNE EN397:2012 certificate for penetration and resistance.

The CSC10 helmet has been evolving over the last 10 years, becoming today without a doubt the best riot helmet in terms of performance/price ratio. There are many details and advantages that the CSC10 offers to the user, since there are many police officers and prison officers who use the CSC10, and thanks to their comments, the CSC10 continues to evolve day after day. The CSC10 helmet is not a painted helmet, but rather it obtains its color directly from the mixing of components at the time of manufacture. The most common color isMatte black, so that it cannot generate reflections or glare. But we have it in white, yellow, blue and red on request. It also comes with a special treatment to provide greater rigidity to the helmet, whether against impacts, scratches or even corrosive agents.

On both sides of the CSC10 riot helmet, there are2 special holes at ear level precisely to allow Agent communication. These holes incorporatea uni-directional membrane filterwhich prevents liquids from entering the helmet, but allows the Agent to hear easily.

The CSC10 riot helmet screen is made of HP polycarbonate. Lexan HP is a highly resistant and flexible polycarbonate used to make everything from glasses to riot shields. The CSC10 helmet comes standard with a 4mm thick screen to ensure resistance against impacts to the Agent's face. It has UV, anti-fog and anti-scratch treatment. In addition, one of the advantages of this special polycarbonate is that it is virtually scratch-resistant.no distortion of vision, which results in the Agent who wears the helmet for a long time not ending up dizzy or with a headache as occurs with plastic screens.

At the top of the front screen, a soft rubber has been incorporated withUV treatment against the sun's rays and corrosive liquids to prevent liquid substances that impact the helmet from entering the interior of the helmet, or worse, towards the user's face and eyes.
The screen, as can be seen in the images, has an oversized front to facilitate use with a gas mask with full compatibility with the helmet. In this way, the oversized screen allows the mask's visor and filter to not touch the screen.

The screen is attached to the helmet at 4 points, precisely to reinforce the stops for both closing and opening the screen. At the back of the CSC10 helmet there is the neck protection. This is3 fireproof pieces joined together by military specification Velcro, which protect the Agent from impacts in that area and of course from the entry of liquids into the neck and back of the user. Theseparts covered with fireproof fabric, protect the special 1cm anti-trauma padding of high-density EVA expanded foam. Thanks to the system provided by the 3 fireproof EVA foam pieces,Not only the back but both sides of the neck are protected. In addition, the neck protection is completely retractable. It can be folded inside the helmet, so that it can be left on flat surfaces with greater stability, hung from the belt thanks to the ring and hook included and of course stored in the locker or on shelves with less space required. Unfolding is quick and with just one hand, with the 3 parts of the neck protection practically adhering automatically.

Inside the NIDEC riot helmet has a system ofAdjustable strap makes it multi-size, since the main helmet support ring is adjustable in diameter by means of Velcro. The entire helmet suspension system is made with 1000 Denier density Nylon tape and, except for the main ring, all the suspension harnesses are away from the user's head so that in the event of an impact the energy is dissipated between the padding and harnesses and not on the user's head. All the internal padding of the helmet has an anti-bacterial treatment. The mesh that separates the head from the roof of the helmet has the same treatment and is also 100% breathable, which, together with the air chamber between the harness and the helmet, quickly evaporates the moisture produced by sweat and achieves greater user comfort.

The closure to fasten the helmet is an Xmax like those used in Formula 1 racing helmets..Includes a chin guardor soft rubber chinstrap, without edges or borders and ergonomically shaped for comfort. All harnesses that come into contact with the user's skin are lined with a hypoallergenic, non-porous synthetic leather fabric, which allows for easy cleaning and maintenance.

Sewn into the inside of one of the helmet's harnesses is an identification tag, which includes the helmet's brand, model, serial number and year of manufacture. Behind the same tag, there is a space that says: Agent and Unit, so that the user can enter their identification number and therefore be sure that it is their helmet and that it is perfectly fitted.

As previously mentioned,On the back of the CSC10 helmet, there is a fastening ring, which allows, using the hook included with the helmet, to hang it from the belt so that it rests on the leg.

Additionally, on the bottom of the helmet, there is a metal identification plate as an ORIGINAL riot helmet, which authenticates the origin of the helmet. With this plate, you can be sure that it is a CSC10 helmet. Do not accept imitations.

We fired a shot from 5 meters away with a 12/70 caliber shotgun and a 32 g shot cartridge, with an initial velocity of 450 m/s and a muzzle energy of 3240 Joules. No shot penetrated the helmet or the visor.

• Impact resistance due to fall:

The impact tests we performed on the helmet consisted of 2 free falls against a concrete floor, therefore with a constant acceleration of 9.8 m/s2 from a height of 1835 mm. The result was no breakage, no breach or anything that could question the safety of the helmet.

The mass of the entire helmet is 1.92 Kg (+-5%) and it falls from a height of 1,835 mm, which implies a kinetic energy just before impact of 34 J (Joules).

In addition to the EN397 certification, penetration is also tested by the impact of a 3 kg punch falling twice in less than 75 mm of distance between impacts, against the helmet and from a height of 3 metres, without logically penetrating.
