DESCRIPTION AND CHARACTERISTICS

The PVS-7 goggles are widely recognized for their reliability and unparalleled ergonomic design. This US military-grade night vision goggle system has proven its worth in combat, resulting in the highest quality AN/PVS-7 B/D system on the market. The PVS-7 goggles can be assembled with high-performance Gen 2 and Gen 3 image intensifier tubes (available in green phosphor or P45 white phosphor). The PVS-7 goggles feature Automatic Brightness Control (ABC), which adjusts image brightness under changing light conditions while maintaining image sharpness and clarity. The built-in infrared spotlight provides a light source outside the visible spectrum, enabling the user to operate in complete darkness without being detected.
In addition, the PVS-7 goggles feature an automatic light cutoff function to protect the intensifier tube from intense light sources, and an automatic locking mechanism that engages when the goggles are attached to the optional helmet mount. The PVS-7 goggles have two integrated LED indicators in the eyepiece: one for the IR illuminator being on and one for low battery. Lightweight, rugged, and versatile, the PVS-7 goggles can be handheld, head-mounted, or helmet-mounted. They are compatible with afocal magnifying lenses for enhanced long-range viewing.
